Sablepoot bantams??????????

I want some hatching eggs if anyone has any! Preferably the orange color not the yellow one.

Well, I'm in Southeast Louisiana and someone sold me a rooster and 5 hens of supposed Mille Fleur D'uccles, but now that I know a bit more about the breed, it appears what I have are Sable points, or Booted Bantams. They are cute little birds to say the least and not too much different from D'uccles. I believe they are a bit larger than D'uccles and do not have the beard and muff. Also, the D'uccles seem to have a more upright body carriage similar to Serama or Japs.

How loud are the cockerels/ roosters?
The one that I have is not very loud. He doesn't crow nearly as much as my OEG bantams and he seems pretty laid back. As with any bantam breed, the crow is not so much loud as it is a high pitch. But this one is not too bad.

I have a Porcelain Sablepoot Bantam hen her name is Luna. I didn't know what she was because I asked the lady at the feed store for 3 silkie and got 1 Buff Silkie Bantam, 1 Black Cochin Bantam and Luna. I just figured out what she was by doing research through websites. She is calm, sweet, hasn't started laying yet and makes little light sounds different from the rest of my 7 other hens. I have 7 types of chickens total out of my eight.

What's the deal with Sablepoot bantams here in the US? I keep seeing these beautiful Lemon Mille Fleur bantams on the net and no matter what they are all from the UK. Do we call them something different here in the states? I know about the D'uccles but the Sablepoots seem to be a bit different ( not bearded?) I feel a bit ignorant about these guys and thought somebody on here would know the scoop on them.
Hello,
RNKFarms is now breeding the Booted Lemon Sabelpoot. We are dual registered in the U.S. and in the UK. This is an exclusive import we are offering to the public but in limited quantities. If interested please log onto our website at rnkfarms.com
