Have you seen her poop? They poop alot so if she isn't pooping she may have something going on internally. I don't know of a recipe for Nutri Drench Maybe research on line but I know it has molasses in it but whether you'd have the other ingredients available?

There is a poop picture from a bit earlier if u scroll up. No blood in it which i assume is good.

Just saw the poop pic. Have your chicks been on the ground? Are they hatched by a hen you have or did you buy from a hatchery or feed store? I'd call around if there are other feed stores in your area about the Corid.

Thank you. Can you help me understand what you see in the poop that is concerning for future reference?

They are from a hatchery and have not been on the ground. They spend most days outside in their brooder as long as the temp is above 65 and then i bring the brooder in at night.

Well, we left to pick up kids from school and get some dinner. Came home and she has passed . Thank you all for your advice and this will be a learning experience for us to be prepared to treat abnormal behavior swiftly to keep this from happening again.

65 degrees is not warm enough for 3 -4 week old chicks. 70-75 at the most.

Is that too cold even still with heat? I keep the heat pad in the brooder when they are outside.

If they are using the heat pad probably not unless one isn't allowed to be on it. And no air blowing over then. The best way to know for sure is to put a thermometer in with them so you know exactly what the temp is.

Thought i would update since everyone was so helpful. The other 3 babies are doing great and on day 4 of corid treatment. No other chics showed any signs of feeling poor but from what i read if one was exposed the entire group should be treated. Thanks again byc for you help.
