Sad day 😔

[Quail 66]

A few hours ago we culled my little 8 months quail who was born with a lot of problems. She was mouth fed and in a splint for two weeks but she was relatively ok until a month ago. She was pecked a lot, lost her spirit and her place in the pecking order and her legs were very weak. A week ago she started laying and her eggs were kind of white and mostly broken. I think we did the right thing because I'm certain she was suffering. But still, I'm sad..

I'm sorry that you had to do that. I agree and think that you did do the right thing by putting her out of her suffering.
