Oh my god, I almost started crying when I read your post. I am so very sorry for your loss from the bottom of my heart. I have had a VERY similar expierience to that, and I know the pain you are feeling. But know that she probably went quickly and with little pain. I searched for years to find another dog that looked just like the puppy I lost, and when I found her I scooped her up as fast as I could. She is my baby today, and rarely leaves my side. Perhaps this isn't the way you can heal your heart, but love all the ones you still get to spend every day with and cerish every cuddle and kiss!

it's been a rough two days, i've held many of my dogs when they had to be put down, cancer, heart failure etc, but this was so traumatic, she was a sweetheart, her and yogi were so close, i've been giving him lots of attention because he seems lost without her, thanks for all the condolences
