Sad day for crazy feathers

Years ago I picked up a banty rooster and he squawked, so one of my big roosters jumped at us and spurred my hand. Not only did that joker put a hole in the side of the middle knuckle on my middle finger, it felt like it had been smashed with a hammer too. 20 minutes later he was boiling in a pot. I ate chicken & dumplings for 3 days afterward. That was the only chicken I ever actually enjoyed processing!

Crazy feathers, your decision was hard but responsible. I think it better that a person doesn't get injured. I would have made the same decision with any of my animals whom I love very much. Kay.

He got me through my boot yesterday and that wsd painful enough I can't imagine the pain you went through.
