Sad day for us.

I have had dogs on my pillows, but never a turkey.

For her to lay on my pillow she must be really upset she's never done this before. She ignored him anytime he tried courting her but she seems to have taken his death pretty hard

She is lonely and doesn't understand, you will be her flock for now. So sad.

I raised her by hand since she was maybe a week old if that so I am her flock anyway she'll lay on my feet at night when we let them stay inside. She's been inside a lot this winter and has become used to sleeping on my night stand

So sorry to hear about your turkey. I love mine also. I have three hens and three Tom's. One of my hens is blind but is in a safe place at our home and we love her. We make sure she finds her way to the coop each night. She spends a lot of time near the ducks as they are very vocal and she can move around with them. Again sorry for your loss.
