Sad day

Wow, that seems like a pretty small space to sit in for two weeks. Don't know if it could have anything to do with the issues he's having. I would also be concerned that once they are out of quarantine they are just tossing the new birds into the pen with the existing flock rather then having a separate run alongside for new birds so everybody can get used to each other through a fence for a while before joining the flock. Usually makes for an easier, more successful integration. Just seems a little hit or miss to me. What do they do if a bird never does get accepted by the rest of the flock? I've had that happen.

They do have a hen I'm actually going to adopt from there once her stitches come out. She was pecked in the head by a bad rooster. It was really bad. she is doing so good and she is very social! She loves to be held and rubbed.

Putting them in with 20 other roosters might be a bit much, especially as young as they are. All of the roosters wil try to establish a pecking order, and the original 20 already know where they stand. If given enough time, they would find their place in the hierarchy and be fine. It's just a matter of being able to survive that long. They should try placing the pen where they're being isolated in with the other roosters. It will help protect them, yet give the flock the opportunity to get adjusted to them. After some period of time, say a week, you could try to let them out of the pen.

Good luck.
