sad goose

hi there I just got a gander from a creek and brought him home. He is sad and keeps going down our drive way to leave help me make him feel happy and more at home.

He may be missing his home and probably some friends...why did you bring him home if I may ask? Do u have adequate shelter and intentions in getting him a friend? And also not sure where you live, but where I'm from taking a wild duck/ goose is illegal...ijs
I'm really not trying to be harsh, I'm just a realist.

Possibly the goose has a mate on a nest near where you found it and went back there.
