Sad hello from this newbie

Good morning all,
I'm posting here for the first time because I have to rehome my seventeen chickens and ten ducks. I'm moving and can't take any of them with me. I live on Oregon's south coast and need help navigating the website and figuring out how to post in the appropriate areas to find homes for my girls (and one muscovy drake). Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, so sorry you have to rehome your flock. When I was faced with a similar situation, I put an ad up on the TSC bulletin board (it was a busy place in our little town and the ad was free). Good luck to you!

oh so i’m sorry!
do what the others above have recommended and also if you use Facebook look for a local poultry group and post on their Facebook chicken groups are where I have had the most luck rehoming animals.

Welcome to BYC! So sorry you're having to give up your flock. I just had to do the same thing a few months ago. I see that you've already posted them on here. You can also try posting them on FB Marketplace or Craigslist. Hope you can find good homes for your flock.

You would probably have much better luck rehoming your flock on a local and/or regional FB Poultry group. Good luck and sorry you have to rehome your flock.
