Sad Morning

I'll be taking my 3 BBB and 2 BBW to be processed tomorrow morning. Felt kind of sad when I went out and fed them today. I did everything I could not to imprint on them but I think they imprinted on me. I need the room for the 8 heritage that I'm keeping and man do they eat a lot of food but I'm going to miss those buggers.

I cooked up some of the random meat bits I cut off the carcass yesterday and it was so delicious.

Yes can be tough but they taste so darn good I can always seem to get it done without a problem. But I do have a few that will get to live out there lives to the fullest, there personalities have grown on me

I love seeing them strut, and their noises are so fun to listen to, whether it's gobbling or the interested noises they make when I throw them some scraps.
But you're right, they taste amazing.

It was a rougher than I expected and I honestly think it would have been easier had I done it myself.

I raised some turkeys this year for meat and ended up selling all but two. Those two went in the freezer; one progressed to the fridge yesterday for defrost duty and an eventual appearance as the centerpiece on Thursday's dinner table.

And I just picked up 8 BBW poults on the 18th.

All signs point to you having done the right thing.
