i'm soo sorry!!! i had that happen to me as well a few months ago. about 5 days in the coop and a snake found its way inside and ate two of my 3 babies

Wow, they found them so fast!
I'm so sorry. Mine have been out in the coop for a week and no one has been by yet. It's not unusual for skunk, possum, raccoons to pass through but my dogs have not alerted at all and the chickens seem content.
I'm just really surprised that it happened so fast.
I wouldn't have known either so thank you for sharing. You are probably helping save some chickies.

Oh dear, I am so very sorry!!

That is so sad!

I told my DH that if the coop and run don't get fixed to my satisfaction we'll be having chickens in our house instead of chicks!

Rotten critter whatever did that to your baby!! It always seems to happen to the special ones doesn't it! It would be awful tho for something bad to happen to any of them!
