He's a mixed breed. I wouldn't separate, instead add another feeder or 2 and see how he does.

Agree, make sure he's getting to eat and drink. He's quite young so the hens are going to bully him, they just do that. When he's older and his machismo comes in he'll have a totally different life don't worry.
