i found my goose dead today in the kiddie pool. I just about cried. He was soo cool i hatched him and he would follow me around everywhere and sit on my lap. I just dont know how he died he was kick for about 3 days and was not eat at all but drinking very litter and was acting very tired and staying away from me. Hopefully my other birds dont get it. Any ideas on what he might have had.

I can't help you, being new to geese myself just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I hope you find out what happened and that your others are ok. I am so sorry for your sad day.

So sad. I am sorry for your loss. From what you have said it could be a number of things...but without really knowing more its hard to be secific about the most probable cause of its death.

It could have been anything from a respiritory infection to something else effecting the organs. I hope you dont loose any more though.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always so hard finding a beloved animal has passed away, and it sounds like you were close to your goose...

Best of luck figuring it out, I really hope it wasn't something contagious.

Try to remember the good times you had with your goose and remember him fondly. Eventually it won't be as painful, and you'll be able to celebrate his life instead of mourn his death.

I am so sorry you lost your goosie

And always remember this:

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Us animal lovers are going to have a *really* big crowd waiting for us!
