Sad update.

Thank you everyone sadly after this we dont’t plan on a new batch of chicks until at least a good 4 years. Being that my girls that survived haven’t even started laying we don’t wanna start two batches at two different levels at the moment being a busy work/school year.
Some day I will be sure to get another rooster. I am just unable now. Thanks all for the support

Sorry for your loss. I am afraid my dogs would have chicken nuggets too if they got close to our chickens thus they are in their own fenced yard with and electric fence to keep them in and the chickens get to free range the property. The chickens keep a respectable distance from the dogs so they must know they would be on the menu.
