Saddle air sac huge ones
Hi all thank you in advance for any help!

I've read lots of posts.... However noone comes up with a clear instruction for how to deal with saddle air sacs. I'm on day 16 and they are huge. Chicks are still moving but what should I do. Humidity is 45 % should I up it before lockdown? Will this set them early? Should I lay them on side when I get to day 18 or should I set them up air sac upwards... I think called cartoning them? I currently have them in an automatic turner slight angle turned every 2 hours. Any help greatly appreciated? I have pictures to post if you think would be helpful. I should add these were posted silkie eggs and left to sit for 48 hours before incubated. The postie also threw them onto step.... So I'm happy they made it this far...so close to the finish line

Not sure, but following because I have this exact problem. Huge saddled air cells on a few of my shipped eggs and I'm only on day 12! Also a few regular but large air cells. All cells were detached on arrival. Also keeping 45% humidity and nervous about raising it much higher. Sorry I'm no help but I'm grateful you made this post!

Thank you. Here's hoping by tomorrow some wonderful people will have all the correct advice
.... Day 17 for me... So hoping it is soon. Good luck

Only one made it... But...i asked lots about lay flat or carton. I laid mine flat. One piped and couldn't reach shell unfortunately died. Another two piped on bottom of egg and didn't manage to zip... And I was devastated as if I'd have cartoned in a clear egg carton cut down low with holes in bottom set up rite I would have seen they needed help after a few hours. This is only onetime I've had this so I'd love to hear from experts. I really upped my humidity once I saw how big saddles we and I'm glad I did as I think they all would have been shrink wrapped if I hadn't.

I'm not sure if this helps any... But happy to share what happened with my hatch. I found drawing cell development in pencil on the egg allowed me to keep track... But in a saddle it is deceiving

I'm sorry for the eggs that didn't hatch... But congrats for the one who made it! The chick is super cute!!! :love

I don't know about the position either, I read too much different info and it seems to be quite random at some point. I also drew the sacs on my eggs, one is very malformed (looks like double: on the bottom and on a side) and another one is just wavy kind of. I'm trying not to panic for now...!
