Sadieville Monthly Small Animal Swap SEPTEMBER 3rd

News from May 7th swap....

For you folks that left early...hang out a bit longer next month, we still had people coming looking for birds and guineas after you left....you know who you are...LOL

Shawna...you dropped your Kentucky Bank Credit/Debit card on the ground by my truck...my daughter turned it in to Shannon at the Marathon store...stop by there and pick it up.

Next month's swap will be on Sat. June 4th....

Please let Sarah or I know what you think you may bring...I have people calling looking for specific things and I can never tell them what is coming. I know :

there is a lady wanting Easter Eggers - pullets or hens
a lady looking for Guineas

Also...Sarah and I bought out one of the local farm stores chick and chicken waters, feeders stock. So don't pay the outrageous prices at TSC and so forth for the danged things. Talk to us or call us.

we have approx. 10 each of each item not necessarily color plastic:

chick feeders - 1 qt size bottom and jug for $3.00 each which is about half of TSC's price....they charge you for both pieces. we have red, green, yellow and purple bases
chick waterers - 1 qt. size bottom and jug for $3.00 each again about half of TSC's price
long red chick feeders - $ 4.00 each that is half of TSC's price
1 gallon twist and lock waterers (bottom and jug) $5.00 each again well below TSC's price

and a couple threaded locking 1 gallon waterers $5.00 each

As we can find the poultry supplies in bulk and buy them, we will offer them for sale at a significant savings whenever we can. We are both tired of getting ripped off at TSC too.

I brought 27 birds of various breeds and ages. Sold 1/2 of them AFTER people packed up to leave. Seriously folks, hang out past 10 am there are still buyers out there!!!

BTW, I only went home with one bird. Not a bad deal for me!

Reminder...we have feeders and waterers for sale and will have them with....

Sarah will have some Orpington babies and youngsters available as well as Turkens which just hatched a couple of days ago....they are blondes and large fowl.

There will also be a couple of d'uccle babies...

Also...who knows what else so keep checking the thread folks and remember to let me know what you are looking for and what you have.

We're planning on bringing two bantam Cochin roosters, one black and the other is blue, they're three months old. Three pairs of Bearded d'Uccles Bantam Mille Fleurs, same age. Three pairs of white silkies, two months old. One Bantam Golden Sebright rooster, three months old and one pair who are about two months old. I've also been thinking about selling some of our Silverlaced Wyandottes but I'm not sure yet. Hopefully it'll be good weather!

I didn't know you guys had a thread for this! One of these days I'm gonna talk SOMEBODY into taking me up there, even if it's just so I can meet some people
