We have 5 healthy chicks!! But, 2 that I don't think will make it--so sad to watch them knowing this! Goodness, I want them ALL to make it!
The one that was stuck in it's shell from the beginning--I chipped some shell off last night b/c it was just giving up (not even trying anymore). It was just enough that it could get it's head out and then it came out on it's own, but it isn't fluffing up or really moving much.
Another got about a dime sized hole in the shell but there was a ton of green foamy stuff all over it's mouth, face. I left it alone and got up this morning to find it still in there and barely alive.
Ugh--so hard to let mother nature keep control!
Any ideas on the green foam?
