Safe at Last,son home from middle east

Our youngest son called last night, he is just home from the middle east after his tour of duty.He went home to colorado springs but I know he is home and safe.Please continue to remember all the rest of the men and women serving over there in your prayers. My child is home safe, but there are so many others serving over there to protect us, and many other mothers may not be as fortunate as I was for my child to come home safe.

Wonderful news...

It's is so emotional when they come home...I remember when hubby was over seas and got to come home after 18 months...
Watching the plane come in through the fog was so amazing...

We are awaiting hubbies 2nd deployment to Iraq...he will probably be leaving in Jan 2009 ( or so the rumor goes)...

God bless you and your son, Marrie. It is so hard to see our children go, but I am so proud of each one of them. My daughter is slated to go back to Iraq next spring sometime. As hard as it is for our family, I am so proud of her. It is her choice and her decision to serve our country. I support her, my president, and all our wonderful military.
