Safe in the coop?

Hello all,
I brought home 5 hens on Saturday to start my flock. Today I bought one more bird and brought her home to the run/coop. The five that have been here for two days became very aggressive and will not let her come anywhere close to them or the feeder. I am aware of separating the birds, I just didn’t think 2 days would cause this much of an issue. Will it be safe to put them all in the coop tonight? I don’t reallly have another place to let the new bird sleep. Thanks.

Can you set up a safe space in the coop for her? Doesn't have to be fancy, just something to create a barrier between her and the others.

Either that or put her in once it's dark, and plan to have to coop door open at the crack of dawn so she can run for it if she needs to.

I ended up putting them all in there and monitoring to make sure nothing was going on. They all cuddled up on the roosts, but my new girl roosted by herself (in peace). Luckily I have a ton of roost space and they could spread out. I heeded your advice and opened up the coop door at first light. So far only two birds have come out, four are hanging out inside. It has also been pouring rain and storming for about 12 hours, so hopefully they are bonding in the coop over this rain! Thank you for your suggestion!
