Safe wound care for pheasants

I have a couple pheasants that have patches of feathers missing with little skin tears like they are being pecked and I wanted to put something on them to help heal. I read that BLU-KOTE works but in my animal health catalog it says NOT to use BLU-KOTE on food producing animals. So is there another brand that is safe for these guys? Or should I just use it anyway?

Blue kote and red kote are good to use. Not sure if it affects meat birds

Okay, thanks! I think I found another safe brand its called Vetericyn plus poultry care spray.

Furicin is also good to use on wounds. You can find it in the horse section at TSC. It's a sulfa drug in a powder form.
