Hello all. I have 8 chickens, 7 are 7 months old and 1 is 3 years old. I have Safeguard dewormer pellets. How many should I feed to each chicken and for how long? I've heard a small handful per chicken for 5 days in a row. Is this correct? Thanks much!

This sounds easy..I hope someone answers.. I think one of my ladies may have roundworm. So I will get an answer for me as well..

Can you return it and get the liquid for goats instead?

I've read that the pellets work. I'm not sure about giving the girls liquid. I don't want to squirt it down the wrong tube.

Since no one really responded, I did some searching on my own and it looks like about 1/2 TBSP per chicken.

I do but I ended up buying the liquid today. The girls didn't want to eat the pellets.

Is it 1 ml every day for 5 days, wait 10 days, then do it again every day for 5 days?

0.23 ml per pound for 5 consecutive days. I cannot find any information from a veterinary resource that says to repeat.
