Safeguard for goats need to give to 1 hen orally and quick Help !!!

I need to know how much safeguard for about a 3 lb hen that is not drinking or eating on her own, or would wazine 17 be better? Please help !!! Thanks

You could use 3/4 ml of SafeGuard Liquid Goat wormer for a 3 lb hen. Dosage is 1/4 ml per pound of weight. Give it once and repeat in 10 days to get just round worms, for 3 straight days to get roundworms, gapeworms, or cecal worms, and for 5 days in a row to get those and capillary (threadworms.) She would need to be given plenty of water afterward. There is a good thread on learning to tube feed chickens called "Go team tube feeding," if you Google that or search here on BYC.
