Hi All,

Does anyone know if you can worm a flock with SafeGuard by mixing the wormer in their water?
IF so, what is the dosage for a standard size flock of 9 in a one Gallon waterer.

Thanks in advance,

Please provide a link to the product. The only Front Line I'm familiar with is the topical flea and tick medication. That should absolutely not be given to chickens in their water or otherwise ingested.

Its been while sine I wormed them. I usually give it orally but due to physical limitations right now I cannot so I wondered if I could give it to them in their water. I was not sure so I wanted to ask around and see what other chicken keepers thought.

It's complicated... It's not really water soluble, so it will settle pretty quickly. It also must be given 5 days in a row if you want to treat capillary worms. Do you want to treat all worms or just large roundworms? If you want to treat just large roundworms you could use Wazine in the water, then Save the Safeguard for when you need to treat other worms.
