Me too! Unfortunately my chicken math is controlled by my parents, but I am literally envisioning what will happen as soon as I get my own place. POOF. Chicken explosion

I took the plastic squeaker out of one of my dog's toys and started training them while they were still in the brooder (using very small amounts of scrambled eggs as treats). Now they're 9 months old and I still use the squeaker when I give them treats even if they're in the run just to keep them familiarized with the noise. I figured it would be loud enough, easily replaceable, and I can leave it for anyone looking after the girls if we're away. Shaking the container of cracked corn will also round them up easily.
Sidenote: now the dog also believes he's entitled to chicken treats and will eat some of the barley fodder, eggshells or cracked corn lol

Well it was HIS squeaker! I like this idea a lot, my sister puts mine up for me during the week and they do come eventually, but I like the idea of a universal sound.
