Safest way to heat a tack type room?

I searched more into it, and have read numerous sites mention oil radiator space heaters. I am going to ask the fire marshall if this is a fire hazard, and if so - what we should use instead.

Spoke with fire marshall who was involved with extinguishing our fire.

Says any space heaters are a no no. Stay away from them altogether unless you are in the room with it.

Heat pumps, forced fan heater on the wall (what we were thinking) or any type of heaters meant for construction jobs are okay if you keep them clean.

radiant floor heat if installed in a new build it is my understanding isn't very expensive, a radiator might burn dust but it would be like turning on your furnace at the start of winter it wouldn't catch fire but you can smell it burn off a little and I would believe it would be safe. Also look into a "shop" type heater hung from the ceiling like in some barns and garages (both commercial and private) if you use that variety I would enclose it with chicken wire in the corner of the room where it site to prevent any chance a chicken or cat or whatever to get up there and get hurt or drop something up there (probably never happen but why chance it?).
