Saint Patty's Hatch!!!!

I guess I am in on this, technically, at this point in time. I have one Icelandic egg due to hatch on St. Patrick's Day.

I ended up with 2 fuzzies so they are happy and so am I. Tonight, I will probably candle. I have the duck eggs in one bator and the rock/orp in another. I also picked up a dozen goose eggs at the auction friday night! I am nuts!!!! I set them sunday. Hopefully I will do well with them since they are local and not shipped.

I may have a St. Patty's day hatch as well, if my Polish bantie's egg keeps developing at the rate it has been. I think I'm going to have to cobble a hatcher out of one of my spare aquariums just to accomodate him/her!

I have a few that have much larger aircells than others, I wonder if they were the older of my eggs. They don't smell bad, just full of chick and good veining. I just am surprised at the difference in aircell variance.

4 of 17 porcelain d'uccles are pipped! I hear them saying 'MAMA'! And of course, being a crazy chicken lady I'm talking to them and cheering them on..... The brooder box is ready! I get my NPIP testing done next thursday, so hopefully the next batch of eggs will go in someone else's bator!
