Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We got our first chickens in the beginning of March. We have enjoyed them more and more the longer we have them.

    (2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have six chickens, all different breeds.

    (3) What breeds do you have? White Rock - Gladys; Barred Rock - Roxanne; Dark Brahma - Betty; Black Giant - Jemie; Wellsummer - Wilma; and Cuckoo Maran - Cuckoo.

    (4) How did you find out about We started looking online to get some HELP to know what to do with chickens. The lady we bought the chicks from suggested it.

    (5) What are some of your other hobbies? We like to hike and fish in the Colorado mountains, gardening, reading, quilting.

    (6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We also have a yellow lab (girl) Scout who gets along with the chickens fabulously. We have an indoor cat, Banjo who watches them from the window. My husband recently retired, so the chickens have become his hobby. Our Two grandson, age 2 and 3 love to see them when they come over.
