I miss the days I could just go to the store and find what I need.
I'm right there with you on this.
Was told I'd have to sign for it and i would get text the day before. I was home. No one texted or rang the door bell. The rain had destroyed the box when I found it.
Uh huh. When did customer service, BASIC stuff that you SAY you WILL do, go out the window!?!

THEY.DON'T.CARE

Same with much of healthcare. :(
Yup. I just went to the dentist on Wednesday. It is a privately owned practice! YAY! I had a new-to-the-office hygienist. She had been in dentistry at a different office for 42 years, and that office was sold to a corporation. She was glad to leave. She had some stories, that's for sure.

I will be going to this dentist as long as he's practicing. Fortunately, he is younger than I, so hopefully I don't need to ever find a new one.

I need a dentist that understands phobia. I cry in the chair. Last dentist I used bruised me trying to get his hand in my mouth. It was bruised so badly I had yellow discoloration on the outside of my cheek. And a dry socket. :(

^^That's terrible! Can you get a recommendation from a friend? Or call around and ask if they can work with you to aleviate your worry? I'm so sorry this happens to you.
No one I've asked understands that I truly freak out in the chair, it's not a game. The last decent dentist I went to was an older guy with very little bedside manner but he was a very good dentist. I went back to him three times and got all my dental work caught up. That was about 20 years ago, but he's since retired.

What was different, that you could deal with it?

What about sedation dentistry? Does anyone near you offer that service?

I'm sorry you have this problem.
