I like good fries too!
Haven't had any in a long time. :hmm

Hubby is diabetic so he can't eat many potatoes.
Dr told him if he must eat a potato occasionally to eat sweet potatoes. More nutrition and fiber to slow the absorbtion of sugar.

So now sometimes I make sweet potato fries!
Ever tried these? They are yummy!

Dang. Fries sound good right now! Hot, crispy, salty..
Did I mention they are GF :old :love

We keep in stock Frozen. Then into air fryer for 15,,, and eat hot.
I like the seasoned ones we get from Aldi. Grand children prefer regular crinkle cut,,(no seasoning)
NOW IMMA GITTIN HUNGRI:idunno:drool:drool:drool

Hmmmmmm... I wonder if I could cut up some of my own potatoes into fries and freeze them? Not the ones in the basement, new ones next summer/fall. Gonna look into that...
Pretty sure raw potatoes,,,, frozen are not the way to do it. My thinking,,, :old Cut them up,, and deep fry them for at least half way cooked. Then freeze. Then take frozen fries, and finish them in Air Fryer. Pretty sure you could store frozen for quite a stretch of time.
Experiment.

I worked in the garden today! :clap

The ground is still frozen, but the top 1/8-1/4 inch is soft. I took a hoe out there and whacked the heads off some weeds. I put them in a bucket and the chickens got garden snack on March 4th. That's a first.

I didn't kill the weeds, but I slowed them down.

Well, I can't get my photos from my phone onto my computer, so y'all just have to believe me, I guess!

In less than a week, my jalapenos and one habanero have sprouted! The grow lights and the heat mat are da bomb! I have never had pokey peppers come up so fast!

Now I wish I had a mat and lights that would cover the entire table so I could start my tomatoes!
