Collection doesn't have to happen outside

If happening outside, do remember that sometimes board privacy fences are taken down. Thankfully, he who forgot that, did happen to look up before things progressed too far. Because the neighbor's family room windows and the road were in that direction.

And drugs will show up in urine, prescription or recreational. I wonder how they would affect plants...?
Ideas are always popping into my silly head. But some may be valid.
So lets take the Recreational portion into focus.
Many states now make it legal to consume/smoke. So a good experiment would be,,,,,,, Take and water your tomato plants with that Golden Water. Then try smoking those tomato leaves :idunno
That Salsa may also be Dyno mite:wee

Just look at all the things we learn and discuss in these threads. Ya just never know! :gig

Michigan is one of those states. One of the neighbors grows his own. "Hey Mark, could you save your pee for me after you have a joint?" Wow, would that be an awkward conversation!

I don't often roll a joint... but when I do...

...it's my ankle.
Save a step, just ask him to come over and water the garden. Offer him tomatoes or eggs in return for his kindness.
Give him a big glass of water and then turn your head for a moment. 🫣

This past weekend was the Michigan Irish Music Festival. Hubby goes all 4 days (Thurs/Fri start at 5 pm), I go for the day on Saturday. It's close enough (1 1/2 hour drive away) that it's an easy drive, especially this time of year.

Really good bands from all over the world get asked to play there. Our favorites, Crossbow and Ironwood, are both local, so they play there just about every year. There are 4 tents with bands playing, so there is a lot of music to choose from. You can wander around and listen to music from about 11 am to 10 pm.

My one complaint about this year's festival is that Crossbow and Ironwood were playing at the same time. Wah. I picked Crossbow, hubby heard them other days, so he went to hear Ironwood. We both had a great time.

Sounds fun!

Yesterday we got a delivery of 2 yards of crushed asphalt to patch our driveway. Shout out to Tip Top Gravel in Ada! The delivery driver needed help to find us -- most people do, the first time they come out here. But he dumped the load and "spread it" out a bit as he dumped it. Great job, Mike!

We raked and shoveled for about 40 minutes, and then hubby drove over it repeatedly with the Jeep. The whole job went very well, and much faster and better than I thought it would.

We had 3 biggish home maintenance jobs to do before this winter. We got them all done, and the price tag came in at about $550-600. $175 for the asphalt, about $275-300 for the metal to redo the roof valley. Cleaning the chimney was just our time and a couple pieces of scrap lumber to make a very helpful thingie. The chimney was the one that had the potential to turn expensive if it needed to be relined.

Now we just need to get the Falcon plow running. And then we are ready to face winter.
