I, uh, don't do that stuff on my phone... I use my phone for texting, taking pictures, and counting my steps. Oh, and for phone calls. Which I rarely do. Nobody calls anymore.

Thank you! I haven't been to NC since I was a kid. My dad lived there. A little while in Charlotte, then Gibsonville, then Hickory. They were really beautiful!

I know you and her lived in the close neck of the woods. Did you ever Ron-Dey-Voo with her at a feed store or nursery?

No, I never got to meet Aart, sadly. She never came to the Michigan meet up in June, what we call Chickenstock. She was a hermit, not very social, I gathered. She liked her interactions online. She once came to a farm that is about a 10 minute drive from my house, but only said so after the fact. I would have LOVED to have gone over there to meet her.

I know she had some physical issues, though she never elaborated. I gathered from some of the thing she posted that getting around was becoming more and more difficult.

I sure do miss her!
