2 3/8" of rain in the bucket. Except for some spots on the road and one spot in the farmer's field, there is no standing water. The ground drank it all in.
Sunny today. I'll be planting my garlic and multiplier onions today. It's nice that the ground got a good soaking yesterday, and there is some more rain predicted in the next 2-3 days. Perfect time to plant these things and let them establish roots before the ground freezes.
Speaking of freeze... we may finally get a (bug) killing frost later in the week. I sure hope so! Kill the yellow jackets, flies, and box elder bugs!
