I do think they are more of a skittish breed. You have to kind of announce your presence before putting your hand down or they freak out, more than most I noticed. But I had 2 that would jump into my hand when I would put it down, one female and one male. When I go out to the coop they all come running when they hear me and several jump right up to my shoulder

I just love them! It’s hard to clean the coop though because they just jump up on me or are right under my feet following me. They do sound different than other chickens and I love it!
