When do Salmon Faverolle lay eggs? Early? My SF was hatched in April, maybe born in the first week. I'm not entirely sure. She had a red comb starting early at 4 weeks old. I think she laid her first egg. It was not in the next box, but in the coop. I was trying to figure out why they were in there in the heat of the day. They free range, so it also surprised me that she laid in the coop. Do SF lay nice size eggs as adults? We bought her for her nice personality and looks vs egg laying.

The only other two possibilities are the brahma and maran. All three hatched in April.
