Salmon Faverolle - roo or just strange pullet?

It looks male due to the dark feathers, HOWEVER...

dark feathers in SF can just be dark brown on poorly colored females. If there are BLACK feathers on the chest, then it is male at this age.

when we have had male SF, their combs were larger/more obvious and with some color at this age ..your chick does not have much comb development. That is not definitive at this age bc could just be individual slower development.

Can you post pic of the chest area?

AND, just to be sure, does this chick have 5 toes and feathered legs?

Five toes and very fluffy feet! I'm sad because this is out most outgoing chick... maybe also a cockrel sign ahaha here are some photos! Maybe the comb is getting pinker on the sides?

Pretty confident it’s a boy! Those are some black feathers! Yes, getting comb color, another sign due to the age.

SF are usually pretty relaxed birds. Any chance you can keep him?
Agree! Sigh. I'd do anything to keep him (I LOVE roos) but we were informed today that someone down the road got fined for having his roo, so apparently we STILL aren't far enough out in the country to avoid anti-roo laws. Not everyone appreciates our favourite friends.

He's a cutie. I got a Salmon Farerolle pulet from Ideal Poultry. When I got her she was all light yellow. She's 21 days days old today. Her legs still haven't feathered.
