Salmon Faverolles Hatching Eggs

Can you give me info on their personalities? Are they the shy kind or the friendly step-on-your-feet kind? Are the breeding roos friendly?

They have wonderful, sweet personalities and are a bit quirky and have their own little lines of communication with each other. The roosters are very sweet. My Henry typically goes into the coop and watches over his girls while they are laying their eggs. Like all chickens, I think the more they are handled when they are babies the sweeter they are. And the hens can go broody very easily.

With Faverolles, even if you don't really handle the roos, they are friendly. I don't handle mine, but they will let me walk up and pick them up. And one of my girls is the stand-on-your-feet kind, all the others are the mill-around-your-feet looking for treats kind!

My two pullets who are almost three months old shut their eyes and purr like a cat when I pick them up and hold them!

Every time I hear something about faverolles, I just want them more. They seem to be quirky and fun and sweet and pretty with nice roos all across the board. Why are there any other chickens, really? XD Muffs/beards and furry feet with weird toes and a nice personality? Seriously what more could you ask for in a chicken. Why aren't they more popular?

Maybe if they layed golden eggs? XD

Oh, and I forgot they're autosexing too in the salmon variety!

I think I am going to build a separate pen for just the brahmas and faverolles that I want.

They are addictive! I think you will be very happy with both these breeds....
