I have 6 salmon favorelle chicks about 2 weeks old. One is getting feathers much faster than the others, including some HUGE pin feathers on her feet. Looks to be one really big one on each foot. I think it may be getting bent and looks like a little blood is showing. I tried to take a picture. Is this normal? Is there anything I should do to it? They are still inside, in a brooder with hemp bedding. I have raised several groups of chicks but first time with feathered feet breed.

I raised Pekins last year, which are the featheriest-footed birds I've ever seen, but no one had any giant pin feathers that early. Poor thing! It's almost like she has a 4-6 week leg feather growing on her 2 week body.
