Hi- I am new to this, have finished coop and now have 10 6 week girls. I have just been diagnosed with salmonella. (Been sick for 2 weeks) How common is this in chickens, and how do I find which one has it? How to prevent contamination? Any info will help.

Sanitation is extremely important when handling poultry or items that they come in contact with. Childrens' hands especially should be washed after every encounter.
