They all came to the same conclusion.
For most healthy people, the amount of added sodium in the softened water poses no health problems.
Your personal example seems to be that of an exception and extreme, but glad you shared with the group.
Before you conclude and condemn, was the water and softener immediately tested to insure it was operating and set properly??
I would be VERY interested to know the water test results.
This should be done routinely, but is often neglected.
Personally, if my water was thought to have killed an animal... lets just say I would address the issue with all due diligence.
