Though, now I actually have the breed I've done lots of research on before getting them, I can share from experience.
I can tell you that Malays can be either Sporadic Layers, or lay almost as good as a regular chicken. Laying from anywhere between every other day, or every 2-4 days. Seems to be an individual thing. Others are more poor at laying.You can enlighten us on this fascinating breed.![]()
