I have 2 chicks that are just falling behind. I dont notice a bullying problem and I have the smaller chicks separate from bigger ones and a heat lamp on the smaller ones still. They are all about a month old. The two in question are a black sex link and possibly a buff orphington.

Smaller BO

Larger BO, same age

So my question is if I need to be doing something different with these chicks, ( feed, heat) or just let it be. Was also curious if this means they could possibly be roosters. But at this rate they will be the only 2 left in the brooder while the 9 others move to coop.

No. You don't need to do anything different. Separating them is a good idea if you think they aren't getting the food they need (I see you already separated them). They look perfectly healthy.

I'm still not very good at sexing, so I can't answer your rooster/hen question.

Good luck w/ your chicks!
