same color different breed?

If you breed two different breeds together bu they are the same color would the offspring still be the same color? ex. buff orpington and buff ameraucana

Hey Corey,

I would figure they would. I have a Dominique X Barred Rock and she's Barred. But then again, if the father is Barred, its supposed to be dominant. I bred him to a Brown EE and their son is Barred as well,lol.
