That was a terrific meet up. Thank you OGM for your and DH's wonderful hospitality. And that was some raffle with so many prizes. A big thanks to all who donated the prizes as well. I won my first raffle prize ever - a container of meal worms. Yay!

Thank you for coming to the chicken party!!! Really enjoyed all your company and your chickens and all the wonderful goodies you brought! The potluck was bountiful and delicious.. and that raffle table!! Very awesome stuff you all donated! Thank you for buying girl scout cookies from my daughter too! The day passed by too quickly my feet are tired, but my heart is happy. Can't wait to see you again!

Oz, should I be bringing my thermometers tomorrow? In case you didn't get my PM, the range on the Brinsea thermometers is 77 - 106 degree F, in one degree increments.

We've been invited by the Wild West Serama Club http://www.wildwestseramas.com/ to join them at their annual show. Word just in that there will be a chicken
costume contest during the lunch hour. The winner will receive a bunch of free raffle tickets. Judging will be based on audience appeal. All chickens ANY SIZE
may enter!

If anyone would like to help me set up and man the BYC table during the day please PM me. I have one pop-up but would like to have at least 3-4 set up so
that we can spread out. You may sell your soaps, jams, and other home made items. Please bring your own table. You may bring birds to sell and trade as well.
Or just bring your favorite bird to hang out with you for the day. Tell your friends about it too! If you have any item(s) that you would like to donate to the raffle table
(all money from raffle ticket sales will go back to the Wild West Serama Club) please contact Knock Kneed Hen.

I am sorry

I had to turn on the incubator i had in the car running on an inverter - I did not want to drain battery. I should have made this clear. 

By the time it had the water wiggler stable, you were gone.

No worries Oz, I didn't win any eggs yesterday so my incubator stays off. If I did, I would have nagged you until you calibrated my thermometers yesterday.

I had to dash out to go pickup feed before the store closes so didn't get to say goodbye to everyone.

PLACE: NORCO- NEIL SNIPES PARK on the corner of 5th and Hammer

TIME: usually start around 10AM till the cows come home!

WHAT WE DO: TALK "SHOP' BUY / TRADE / SWAP / OOGLE EVERYONES BIRDIES & CHICKS! Bring the kids, bring your grandparents, come one come all!
Bring yer favorite birdies too and let them play in the sun and grass.....we all love to see every ones birds.
There is a beautiful open air pavillion w/ picnic tables that we use. PLEASE bring yer own lunch and drinks. If you want to share goodies…sell goodies….COOL BEANS!

IF there is interest we will have a raffle, so bring goodies to raffle off. The money pot from this will be raffled off to 3 lucky peeps 50% / 30% / 20% so its a great deal!

We will also have a 30 second seminar on injections and whatever else you might want to talk about...just let me know.

P.S. Of course doggies are more than welcome to come but please remember they have to be on leash, not all of the birdies are used to dogs..Thank you for your consideration with this....LOL
