Wanted to let you know. I was up at the fair yesterday picking something up and I casually commented to one of the staff members that I loved the colourful banners and I hoped they were reused and that they would look great on my chicken coop. I got an email this morning offering the chance to come up and choose one or more today. I'm thinking it will be great for colourful shade over my run and I like FREE! If you are interested LMK, the guy who emailed me said that they are set to be recycled by the end of the week.

OOO they would make an excellent flying predator deterrent... And be decorative too. String em over the run.... Like an old tyme used car lot.... hee hee.

I'm afraid I don't know many details, I have an appt this afternoon to go look and choose some.

The one I touched yesterday appeared to be vinyl but not reinforced like Tarp. They had bigger and smaller ones but I don't know what they have taken down and are available.

If I can get permission from parks and rec. Would any one be interested in a meet up by the water ? There is a place just off of the 5 freeway just north of the 8 in San diego. that I think would be good. It should be nice and cool there . Maybe the weekend after labor day. What do you all think?
