San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Luckily, I found a way to combat it so that it wasn't really bad. I used a combination of topical analgesic near the part of the spine where the pain radiated out from and some ibuprofen. Didn't relieve it 100%, but made it tolerable. It did get better, but comes back now and then.

Mostly, I get it on my back and it radiates around the side. It feels like someone digging their knuckles into my back and lower chest all the time all day and night. I didn't know what it was at first until some lesions broke out a few days later in two different spots. Took forever to go away and then it came back a few months later, but less painful.

My sister had shingles before and her doctor told her that if people around her had chicken pox already then they would not catch it. We did not know what it was at first and I touched her arm, I NEVER got it. It could be coincidence but my other sister got it. Don't know.

I am NOT worried about my chickens.

More like my friend is so miserable that I doubt he would come.

I figure if I did not get it from my sister that I would be okay.

I hope I made it clear this time.

Did you guy see the massive earthquake in Japan? If anyone is thinking about getting earthquake insurance, let me know.

Rates had gone up the past year but I guess it is reflective on all the earthquakes that we had.

Well I think this is a good Question!!! I have walking pneumonia a the moment and am unable to function clearly. I dont know when the next meet up is wanted, I know we were talking quarterly, however this is coming up on spring and i think the end of mar beg in April woul dbe great and one a few months after that!! I cannot host at the moment to much going on, but will help set up and arrive early to what ever is planned!!

I liked Lake Murray, or we could have it at Cara's friends ranch. Either way, I'm happy to help set up, but I don't usually stay all day, to clean up at the end. April works for me.
