Traffic school. Different ways to do it. You still have to pay for the ticket but it comes off your record so you dont get a point. So many points on your record and your insurance goes up.

I did it once. Went to a comedy one....

I'm so sorry I didn't get to come!! I had to work until 4:30. My co worker pulled a fast one on me and started work earlier than he's supposed to, so that HE could leave at 3:00. Since it was only the two of us yesterday, I had no choice but stay the whole day.

Anke- if you have a legitimate reason why you should not have gotten the ticket, show up on your court date and appear before the judge. If your ticketing officer doesn't show up, your case gets dismissed, if he does show up, then you can argue your case to the judge. I did that once when I got a "moving violation" for not using a turn signal, when in fact it was broken, and I wasn't aware of it. It was decreased down to a $10 fix-it ticket, with no points on my record.

Hard to get out of a speeding ticket. I just got a ticket for using my cell phone, my first ticket in over 15 years. (I've since bought a Jawbone.)

When they mail you the information it will include a list for traffic schools. There are dozens to choose from. I haven't taken the online course, but my son has. He said that while it is supposed to take all day, you can just forward to the end, answer the questions, and you're done. If you get any wrong he said you can just keep going back until you get it right. Took him 15 mins.

When you get mailed the ticket info. you then pay the amount over the ticket amount, it's about $70 more to do the traffic school, and that $70 doesn't cover traffic school...that's an extra $30 or so.

I was in Long Beach yesterday getting my foster dog adopted out to a super family. Yay!! Missed the meet-up AGAIN....maybe next time.

Certainly, I will be roasting more in a couple of days! Will pm you when I am going to Escondido.

Does anyone have any fertilized eggs (pref. EE) they are willing to part with? I need probably 3 or so. I have a broody! She doesn't show signs of stopping. It's been like 2 weeks already. I'm sure she's not sick or eggbound. She is a nice broody, though. She doesn't bite or growl. If I take her out of the nesting box, she'll eat and drink and walk around when I collect the eggs and then go back to the nesting boxes. As an experiment I left a couple eggs in there with her for the last few days and now she's not switching boxes, she's staying in the one with the eggs, so I've got a broody! (I'm pretty sure, unless anyone has other suggestions?) Thanks everyone. BTW I live in Poway and am willing to drive somewhat. I work in Carlsbad the next 2 days 8:30-4:30 and could meet someone off the 78 or 15 tomorrow or Tuesday for them! P.S. If you know anyone who might have some and is not on the board lately, please pass the info on! I feel bad for my poor old halfblind 3 year old hen who wants to be a mommy. OH! And if you don't think she'll stay broody through the end of the the term she'll sit on fertilized eggs in order for them to hatch, let me know that too!!

ALSO-. If anyone just wants free incubation I'll take more than 3 and give you the extra chicks.

I have some Wyandotte and Delaware eggs that are fertilized by an Ameraucana cockerel, so the babies would lay green eggs... I have fertile ones you can have.

I could collect a few of my banty eggs for you. They will be purebred OEGBs. Let me know, otherwise I'm hardboiling them for the chicks to eat!
