San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I'm in north county, Julian, so everywhere is far from me. I don't mind traveling because I hope to host here and I DO expect ya'll to make the drive!

I literally live on the San Diego/Riverside County line. I'm the last house in San Diego County off Hwy 79. My neighbors across the street live in Riverside County. I'm closest to Temecula (20 Miles). I have to drive 40 miles round trip for a loaf of bread so everywhere is far from me~!

What a good excuse to visit my cousin who live in downtown San Diego. I could stay over then find the party for a visit with everyone from SD. I'll save the week-end of January 22nd for the party.

I was wondering how much does quail and quail eggs go for whole sale?

We grow vegetables, fruits & herbs exclusively for a restaurant called The Linkery ( thelinkery.com ) in the North Park section of San Diego. We also furnish them with eggs, Quail eggs & Quail.

I'm in the process now of working on two new projects, Buff Barred Bantam Cochins & a "look alike" Crele Bantam Cochin. I normally have Cochin Bantam pullets available for sale & "awlays" excess roos

Meeting people who are "chicken lovers" would be great. If you can fit another into your next meet-up, I would love to attend.

I used to buy them in Tijuana and it was only a few dollars a dozen but that was a while back, I would expect them to be a little more here in San Diego. But selling wholesale to restaurant might not be that much more, not sure.
