San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I need to downsize a bit, and I hate to part with them, but I need to sell my 1 yr old Gold Neck D'Uccle pullets/hens. I have 4 to let go. Anyone interested, let me know. They are pretty good layers for tiny bantams. I also have 11 packing peanuts - would be good for those of you who like to raise your own roos for meat.

I usually offer to take packing peanuts if needed.

I want to see pictures! None of my Am eggs hatched, so I'd love to see what the babies look like... Although if they were my eggs, the only choices would be black or blue - I don't have any lavenders other than the orps I just got from you. (And they are cuter than cute!) Could your new baby be blue?

I moved all 18 of my babies out to the barn this weekend where they can run around and play in a 12 x 16 box stall. They are loving it! (I still have some heat lamps going.) They outgrew my bathtub way too quickly.

that is nice to say.
the weeds, oh i mean grass, is so lush in the field right now.perfect time for pictures.
we had baby chicks too but they where in the house to far away to go get.the goats and bunny where handy and of course mama serama had to be in the photo shoot too.
mandy rocks with her photos.she makes my yard look so awsome when in reality it is the way it is framed.

Good question. They were light brown eggs, weren't they?

Mama possibilities: Silver Laced Wyandotte, Barred Rock, White Rock or Speckled Sussex.

Daddy: Blue or Black Ameraucana

What do the babies look like? If mama was a Barred Rock, the babies would be sex links.

In any event, they are Easter Eggers... if you don't want them, I will take them.
