violet- I may want the silkie cockerels later on if you have no takers. I have to wait and see what sex mine are- they're so hard to tell. Mine are all around 4 months so it would be a little while, although one (my splash) has started crowing so maybe not too much longer.
There is a park and ride off the 15 at Deer Springs Road if anyone wants to ride together. I think I'm bringing lemon bars just because they're quick and easy - and cheap. Bringing some banana plants. Let me know if anyone wants roosters!!!
You know, normally I would carpool but I have a couple of errands to run on Saturday and I wanted to get there early to grab a "good" spot! See you all manana!
Gee - not quite ready to have them eaten. Maybe later.
Do we know how many people are coming and do we need another main dish? I can make Mexican Beefies. Kind of like sloppy joes but more Mexican flavored. PureSnowChic - I really like your chickens if you have hatching eggs in the spring I'd like to buy a couple of dozen for the kindergardeners to hatch out.
I am on the same boat. I am wondering what I should bring. A main dish or a dessert. I was leaning towards dessert but then I see a few. Should I try to bring fruit or a salad and maybe a dessert too? Please let me know. I will have to prepare it tonight since I have a really LONG drive ahead of me tomorrow. I cannot wait to meet everyone.
Yeah it looks like we're going to have a lot of chicken and deserts, Maybe I'll bring scalloped potatoes and if you bring a salad it sounds like we'll be pretty well rounded. Or would people prefer potato salad to scalloped?
