Oh my Al, you need to have a little discussion with your "boys" I think! Isn't their some kind of barnyard code of conduct they should be following??

Jerry Springer would be all OVER this story should he get wind of it!!
 
I'm still very interested in trading my 15 month old EE for a Red Star hen. Close to egg laying as possible if not already laying. She lays pretty greenish/blue eggs. One almost everyday. Every other day once in a while. She's a bit bossy and I'm afraid of what might happen when I put my Bantams in with her. The Red Star is quite calm and gentle natured.

Anyone interested?

So 14 eggs made it to lockdown and as of today 12 have hatched.

And so far we have;

6 Black SilkEE's
1 Black Silkie
1 DARK red silkie
2 Yellowish looking ones
1 Light Chipmunk looking one
1 Dark Chipmunk looking one

And yes, with the exception of todays school I have been glued to the 'bator. I even got a comfy chair and a little table...

I'm not sure as I was at school so I didn't see them, but I think the chipmunk looking ones came out of the green eggs. *I think* there were only a few that weren't green besides the little cream colored ones.
